Comedian Bobby Ball gave Zane his first job in animation, working on a series called Juniper Jungle, working from Oldham.
He’s since freelanced in film and TV for London animation houses Telemagination, Flicks and Bermuda Shorts.
He has also animated on major computer game titles for Code Monkeys in Leeds, Acclaim Studios Manchester and Blade Interactive in Manchester.
Setting up Fettle Animation has given Zane the chance to consolidate his experience and create his own work. He has also thrived in building up animation teams, in developing people and processes to make ever greater quantities of animation, telling exciting stories.
Zane is an avid drawer – he always has a pen and a sketchbook in his hand.
The Royal Television Society Yorkshire named him their “One to Watch” in 2014. Many more awards and nominations since. Onwards and upwards!
