Creative Enterprise Female Founders Scale Up Programme

Creative Enterprise Female Founders

Fettle Producer Kath Shackleton, was selected as part of a group of ten UK based female entrepreneurs to take part in a dedicated and prestigious programme for female founders of screen-based companies with an ambition to grow.

Creative England Female Founders

There was an exciting series of online workshops, group discussions and one-to-one business coaching, between November 2020 and April 2021.  The programme was intense and incredibly powerful, made even more so by the coronavirus lockdown.

The group on the programme extended across broadcast media, branded content, interactive, animation and games included Anna Hall from Candour TV, Barbara Santi from Awen Productions, Jane Gerber from Peanut and Crumb, Juliet Tzabar from Plug In Media, Julie Heathcote from Factory Films , Eliose Singer from Singer Studios, Diana Ellis-Hill from Be the Fox, Liz Cunningham from Forward Slash Films and Hannah Wood from Story Juice.

The cohort all were mentored by Lola Media‘s Erica Wolfe-Murray.  She is an “out of the box” business thinker – helping creative businesses to build new confidence and strategies for sustaining and developing intellectual property and business growth.

Kath has come out of the programme with renewed confidence, a bevvy of bold new ideas, a pile of strategies and action plans and an awesome group of supportive and inspirational colleagues and collaborators.  She’s asking new questions, hatching exciting projects and getting lots of help and support building her business going forward.
