30 Fettle friends and supporters turned out in force on the 3rd March to celebrate our latest project Shakespeare in Shorts.
We launched during Huddersfield Literature Festival in the splendid surroundings of The Media Centre.
We’ve received a precious parcel from our friends in Japan!
Photos and a report from their fantastic 50th Anniversary event, plus really kind comments from the Jury about why they chose Fettle’s Children of the Holocaust to win the inaugural Special Jury Prize.
Our latest animation series Shakespeare in Shorts is now live on BBC Bitesize! We’ve adapted 6 Shakespeare plays into catchy pop songs and brought a special Fettle twist to the animation. Rapper Sarah Little brings fun and sparkle to 6 plays, to help young audiences to understand and enjoy Shakespeare today.
We’re delighted to have been working on our latest animation with the team at Nine Lives Media over in Manchester as part of a new live action documentary for kids. We’ve worked on an episode of CBBC’s BAFTA winning “My Life”, a documentary series following the highs and lows of children across the country.
We were so honoured that our animated series Children of the Holocaust, made with BBC Learning and the Holocaust Survivors Friendship Association won a Special Jury Prize at the 50th Anniversary Japan Prize in Tokyo in October 2015. We won a beautiful trophy, a certificate and lots of very kind words from around the world! We are so pleased that our films continue to be enjoyed and recognised internationally.
Our animated documentary series made with BBC Learning based on interviews with World War Two Holocaust Survivors from Leeds Holocaust Survivors Friendship Association. A series of 6 x 5 1/2 minute animations plus 2 minute interviews.
